all of those listed above is good vn, but none of them is really comedy. i already try all the game above except sagara family, comU, and cross channel so i know. at most it just have some little comedy to add spice to the story. try ikikoi. best translated comedy vn. it is full comedy. and one of the best english vn i have played.

YES, Rance series is a one huge saga but it's still stand alone enough so you can connect between series even if you didn't play from the first one
No, i only play 2,6,and 7, while the earlier series (1-5) already completely translated, they are is quite old, and while they are being remaked with newer artwork and graphic, only 2 already translated, and the newer 8 and 9 haven't been translated yet
That way I said something unique lol The story kinda abrupt in beginning add some repeat word but as you goes to read it will clear by it's self, also I suggest you tried to search the walkthrough for the puzzle(?) since this most tedious things in this VN Well I just follow my own heart after all XD
