We should count the number of thread asking for "World Building Novels"

And another with RTW being the reason why they search for it xD

    On to your question.
I suppose Tensei Shitara Slime fits nicely. Tho in a different way about your "arrogant nobles and knights getting crushed by modern technology"
Scrap modern technology. Light physics will do the trick.

You can try this: Genjitsushugisha no Oukokukaizouki. And, maybe, Seiun wo Kakeru.

As much as I like kingdom building stories, I tire of them fairly fast because of the simplistic nature of it.

Whenever the MC does a reform, it passes without much trouble. If I was a vassal lord in the MC territory, and the MC was making reforms that undermined my authority and limited my earnings, I wouldn't just sit by and let it happen. If the MC continues, there will be a uprising.

Hmmm, most of the good ones have been mentioned already. But oddly-enough, I think there might be one which could still appeal to you, despite it being slightly-off from what you wanted: Knights & Magic. A salaryman who is a mecha-otaku gets killed and reincarnated as a young boy in a medieval world where mecha-knights fight against magic beasts. Drawing upon years and years of Japanese innovation in mecha shows, he revolutionises the design of mecha-knights for the kingdom. But national political scheming ramps up once the new designs are revealed to the world.

At least some bone crushing leads fired from a cannon or a hail of bullets from a musketry line or riflemen in the most advance cases WW I to contemporary military tech will do for me hahahaha :p , I really love it when the arrogant aristocracy and their armies proudly and arrogantly step to a killing field only to be reduced to smithereens by artillery (cannons, mortars, tank guns ) and scared to death by thunderous noise that it produces and finally the arrogant and egoistic bunch in shining armors charging to a thin line they thought they could break because the other side has only weird sticks as weapons only to be perforated by a hail of bullets HAHAHAHA and as icing to the cake the introduction of ideals of enlightenment, the demolition of dominant political and social stratification (feudalism, slavery etc.) , and finally freeing the masses from the shackles of a dark age of ignorance and prejudice; and of course the dawn of an industrial revolution. I have been looking over anime and manga for the past years but to no avail hence I turned to novels.

Now, the first thing I investigate in a kingdom/state/realm building novel no matter how simple or complex it's story-line is, is whether or not gun powder is introduced hahaha. I have been skimming over the novels you guys recommended. Thanks a lot.

In that case you'll probably would like Manuke FPS, Hon Issatsu de Kototariru Isekai Rurō Monogatari & Magic Bullet. No building a village/nation like Ability to Make Town or modern army like GATE: JSDF Fight Here though

Else, if you like something like WW1, then maybe you'll like Youjo Senki (novel, anime ver currently on air) & Gunka no Baltzar (manga)

Thanks a lot, as for the last two I am reading Gunka no Baltzar and definitely enjoyed it but its translation has been stalled for a long time as for Youjo Senki I watched its first episode and I liked it but still I'd like those kind of techs (WW1 to contemporary) be brought against a medieval setting or some fantasy world with a medieval setting.

One completely focused on the tech side; Ascendance of a Bookworm. More towards the fluffy side, but much more "realistic" in terms that "not everything goes perfectly ok 100% of the time". She's obsessed with books (she even died because of them in her past life), but it's hard making progress for a sickly little girl. That's why, when there's progress, it's much more rewarding.
