Yeah my thoughts exactly. They have no understanding of how much he cares for the Xia world and it's people or the resources that went into keeping it safe and the fight they continue to go through. they just want to weaken it and take from it. Xue Ying will not let that happen he would rather die than allow that to occur.

 

So someone give me a reason, at least a valid one.

Is Qidian Interenational picking up books just blindly (or maybe not). But there are some books got translation stopped because of them, and now those books doesn't even gets a single UPDATE.

So, now then when is this LXY getting picked by these street thugs.

 

Whenever they get around to it I imagine. They probably don't care all that much since it wasn't the most active translation.

 

They like retranslating, possibly even when they buy the old chapters as a base. It takes time. I know for a fact HN1F spent a couple months in limbo like this. Just wait for the eventual mass release

 

Wait wait did I miss an announcement or something? Did radiant drop this series?

There last message for this series from radiant was "We’ll be going on a short hiatus before resuming with a bunch of chapters."

So I assumed they were still on hiatus, when did they drop the novel? Can someone link the announcement plz

Not necessarily, its probably because IET is too famous for them to handle (idk).

It is. If they don't own either the rights to that translation or at least the rights to publish that translation in perpetuity, then hypothetically the original translator could force them to remove those translations. Thus we see them either working out an agreement to keep the old translator on in exchange for their translations, or buying the translations outright.

Hard for third party translators to give a good enough offer since site traffic for one series often translates into traffic for other ones on the site.

It is often used for "underground" releases. Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei is being released that way after it got official releases. Think it is the same for Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatte Iru Da...

Yen press caught up with Danmachi translations, so now it is just scans of those everywhere online. Used to be fan translations previously. LXY I have no clue about. Felt people in this thread hinted about it though but havn't checked, assume Qidian will pick it up and I'll read it then.
