Something like Polymath Redux where the MC is a genius and has a goal. The main part of what I'm looking for would be the MC is good at planning or has a set goal for the novel.
Although not a novel code geass is one of the best war novels with a genius MC (His goal is to eliminate brittania)
Warlock of the Magus World. You'll get entire arcs where he planned everything from the beginning and just watches it unravel like a show. It's really fun
tell girls that u don t like levi . usui . yato or tell boys that u don t like rem mikasa asuna they may not kill u psychically but trust me they will make you regret your life
gah... i can't stand any of 'em. well, yato's tolerable. i'll stick with kamina and misaka mikoto. Dungeon Defense is the only one i can think of that kinda suits genius + goal without having his smarts be wrapped up in ridiculous levels of plot armor and/or only used for face-slapping antagonists while being borderline stupid for anything else. most novels, that i've seen with real, clear goals beyond "become strong, kill people, and get laid (repeatedly)" would have to be the isekai/summoning/revenge or the ones that transmigrated into a game, and from what i've seen, most of those are in hiatus hell, with a pitiful chapter count, or devolved into a slice of life harem. otherwise, the goals are achieved or out the window after the first arc, maybe the second.
I didn't like Usui or Yato, Levi was the best. I can already hear the weebs breathing real heavy, typing faster than Kirito fighting. Also: Tell girls that you don't like Levi, Usui or Yato, or tell boys that you don't like Rem, Mikasa or Asuna. They may not kill you physically but trust me, they will make you regret your life. Sorry, I just had to.
