Ah. Reading about the MC raging at his amateur party members reminds me of those long nights in the Molten Core and Blackwing Lair from World of Warcraft.

Even if he didn't set up an auction, since he's approaching all the progression guilds individually he could have just set his own price since he's the only supplier. There's very little reason to sell at market price on a brand new product when you have a monopoly. That Dominators guild even agreed to 500g per bottle, even 25 or 50g would be reasonable for the powerful guilds.

On top of that, even if he "didn't care about the money" how could someone shrug off an opportunity to make that much so easily? Is he not a time traveler? How can he not see how important capital is when making a professional team in the future? Didn't he lose his last life's girlfriend because someone else had more influence and money than him?

 

Clear is gone but speed run is there just like the guy buying it for 50k gold.

He can but it's not that needed after the first hudred also he wants to have some good karma or relation with other guilday who are not against him.

 

Exactly, guilds will know later that he asked a fair price.. They will remember and he already made enemies of a strong guild, he needs some allies too.

 

He needs a production team and a good lawyer. He can't meet 100% demand and needs security with his employees.

He'll find more you say? It's already been few weeks or More than 1 week since he got that recipe and still nobody has it in the entire game only him... That's already a fuking OP plot armor right there. If nobody find it for now out of all the millions of players... You expect him to "get more" lol such joke.

No it's obvious plot armor for mc to get rich insanely fast early game. Afterall in games only rank 1 prize is a monopoly and drops aren't, even if the drop rate is 0.000001% after a week that mc has gotten the recipe it should had been few days ago that other people get it since there are millions of players while that recipe drops from lvl 15+ monsters...so having mc maintain monopoly of it for a week is already OP.

 

Reread the chapters. It wasn't a monster drop, but from a rare chest. The one with a slow respawn in the lake, once every three days, and had a small chance of rewarding the potion. We can assume from this it can't be found by a monster drop. We can also assume because MC does not look anywhere else for a chest, so only one area in a city can have the chest, but even if that's too much the odds are against getting the potion.

Say there are five locations in any one city you can find the chest, I'm being generous. Then lets say the potion drop chance is 1%, and remember it only appear once every three days after opened. There's a 0.5 chance of any player getting one potion in any city within 30/month. Chances go up with multiple cities, but if %1 was too generous, say I used 0.000001, chances go way down.

MC said that even much later in the game there were few people with it, so its probably less than 1%. In addition MC hordes the ingredients in case it does get discovered. Although luck played a big part, it isn't unreasonable for him to hold the monopoly so early on in the game.

Author is too forgetful! In the same chapter he says 10 players form China beat the quest at S level, and then said only one person does it at S. Did he mean to say only 1 Guardian class did it at S? Someone needs to ask the translator.
