(Monthly) Short Story Writing Prompts

Wth is volunteer of death anyway?

 

You looking for someone to kill, someone looking to die, work together. Suicidal gets kill, it's euthanasia so maybe not as bad as killing (?)

I will most likely participate, but where do we submit our works? Just looked at the first post and it says where so yeah... I got an idea for this topic ever since I saw it, so I was happy it got picked I just need to flesh out the story and well, make it make sense. I know what I want to write, but I need to put some logic in. It doesn't make much sense yet.

If i remember correctly, i have read an article where someone post in the website that he want to eat a person alive and he need someone to willingly submit his life to him, someone accept it, and willingly go to his apartment where the cannibal eat him alive... He was arrested after he eat that willing man...

 

Happened 2003 and 2013 in germany, the guy from 2003 is called "cannibal from rothenburg"

• In March 2001 in Germany, Armin Meiwess posted an Internet ad seeking a young man willing to be slaughtered and eaten. The ad was answered by Bernd Jürgen Brandes. Meiwes stabbed Brandes in the neck with a kitchen knife, kissing him first, then chopped him up into several pieces. He placed several pieces of Brandes in the freezer. Over the next few weeks, Meiwes defrosted and cooked parts of Brandes in olive oil and garlic and eventually consumed 20 kg of human flesh. Meiwes was convicted of manslaughter in 2004. A retrial in 2006 found Meiwes guilty of murder, and sentenced him to life imprisonment.

 

Well since there is time, I may write one. Most likely contain sex blood gore.

As the Japanese proverbs say if you're going to eat their poison, eat the plate as well.

Hmmmm, the gore is okay, though I think you strayed a bit away from the theme since there was no "volunteer" part on it... It was still a nice read overall though.

I think that you should ask permission (to them) before using in general... I doubt Tony minds it though.

At the same time, I wonder why you bothered with using Tony since you made no reference to him at all... Kinda weird IMO.

Prompt suggestion!

Prosopagnosia is a medical condition where a person cannot recognize familiar faces (including their own). It can happen after a stroke, but some people are born this way too. Imagine going to school or living your everyday life, yet everyone looks like stranger. You might be able to recognize them by their voice or other cues, but otherwise you're left guessing whether the person in front of your important person or not?

 

Suggestion!
Make a short story with less than 10 word or a short story where there are only 1 character in the story!

 

Less than 10 words won't quite work... Only 1 character can be interesting though~

 

no, seriously, i remember a story when a famous writer get asked in a bar to write a completely short stories with 6 word, and his response?
"For Sale, Baby Shoes, Never Worn"
