Welp, still at 14k words, no way I'm completing it by tomorrow... I'll keep on writing at my own pace though, I want to finish this novel... Might put it on original compositions once November finishes.
I barely managed to finish on the 30th. I managed to milk out 4,500 words on Tuesday because I had the day off. I am trying to feed off the momentum by doing: write 100 words, read a chapter, write 100 words, read a chapter, repeat (forever hopefully).
NaNoWriMo Reminds me a lot of the horror movie Jeepers Creepers or whatever it was called. I never watched the entire thing, but I think the main plot point of it and its sequels are that there is a monster that a town fights against for a month. Sometimes they kill it, other times it kills most of the town, then goes to sleep. No matter the result, it just wakes up again once a certain amount of time has passed and they repeat things all over again. So I guess that means that we should all keep our minds and stakes(pens) sharp. That way we can stake the monster(NaNoWriMo) back in its grave again next year, even if we didn't succeed this year.
Yeah... I ended at only 14k words this year... *pouts* I'm still going to finish this story though! Gonna come up with a whole new one for NaNoWriMo next year!
