We only see meat And a cheap foreign country we can travel...... since even travelling inside Brazil can be more expansive than outside, and brasilians do like to say they traveled out of the country... really snobbish right?
Logically what you said is true, but the fact is different their law order act mostly based on their religion law instead country law it's happen a lot where that religion becomes majority in certain places/country.
Islam, Christianity and Judaism has the same origin no? Concept of angels came from Zoroastrianism though.
Oooooh that's so true! Have that one about everyone spending all day dancing samba and playing soccer I hate soccer, don't even know whats going on But is really a big thing here
Well we are in a world where Black people dont like to be called black. Fat people dont like to be called fat. Small people dont want to be called loli/shota People who love cute things dont want to be called lolicons. And gays are not man but a maiden at heart. About the thread himself when someone Ask about Argentina people think oh Maradona, Messi. what, dont we have anything else ? What about the Dulce de leche?! Its delicious you know~~
When you say "serious" how serious are we talking? I dunno man. I have a distant family member who married a guy from a muslim country, went with him for a trip just to visit his parents, and ended up not being able to leave for two+ years, because the guy she married was crazy and used the laws to his advantage so that she couldn't leave. He intended to never let her go back to the USA because he knew she'd divorce him after all the shit he did. She only got back by begging for months to go visit her parents in Mexico until he allowed it, and then crossing the border. It wasn't Libya, so the laws are probably different, but the fact that the laws are what trapped her in a situation like that (she asked other people around for help and they sympathized but they said there was nothing they could do because of the laws) is part of why it looks to many people in western countries that women are treated like shit. Even though in my relatives story she said most of the people she met were good people that treated her well, she was still left with no way out. So yeah. A lot of people are racists, but it's not only racism that's giving the bad reputation, is what I'm trying to say. My friend with a lot of extended family in India says the same. Everyone comparing each other constantly, especially the weight with the girls. But guys, wasn't it that she was mad because the guy was obviously lying to get rid of her? "Yeah, it'll take awhile because of all the snow y'know." *is sweating from the heat* -> *obviously no snow* -> *goes ballistic* Oh, I think I've heard of that stereotype from my Mexican family members, that Argentinians are especially stuck up or something. Wow... seriously? What a bastard. About the stereotype I mentioned hearing about before, I think it's much older than that viral vid though, since even the elderly who never use the internet were agreeing with it. I have one parent's side of the family with the 'need an appointment' culture, and one without. It's weird. I can go visit a family member from that side, and they'll say "Oh, thanks for calling ahead, but you didn't make an appointment at least two days before, so I'll talk to you for 10 minutes and then you'll have to leave". I'll just show up at the door of a family member from the other side of the family without any warning, and they'll be like "Oh! I have so many things to do, but you came to visit, so just come with me on my errands, or hang out in my house for an hour and I'll be back and we can hang out for three or four hours after that." It's an awfully weird contrast. ? Sounds interesting, but what do you mean wearing the pants? Like, being in charge of decisions or something?
People are insulting each other when they don't say it the "proper way". If you go in the north of France and say "I want a Chocolatine" people will usually say that they don't understand or that they don't know what that mean. Same thing in the south with "Pain au chocolat". A Baker in the south refused to give me this pastry because I said "pain au chocolat" and not "chocolatine". He said; "you wont have anything as long as you don't say the right word". But it's more of a funny 'dispute', because everyone know that the proper way to say it is Pain au chocolat...
Does Chinese people used chopstick to eat anything? Is Texas is the Raciest state in the US? Does Canadians are really obsessed with Maple Syrup and are all consist only of Nice People? Are people of India all shake their head whenever they talk? Are all British people wear monocles and dressed like gentleman and is their food really that bad? Does Russian always drunk on Vodka 24/7? And is everything that moves in Australian outback will kill you? Because Internet and Popular culture made me think so.
Oh really.. Oh it's real.. Blame Bollywood!! @Crimshine Does france people always talk elegantly or it's because your language that makes even cursing sound pleasantly?
