Net Neutrality is playing the pig to eat the tiger.
It is basically big government sticking their hands in and laying the foundation for controlling the net through laws and regulations... ultimately leading to a lose of freedom, taxation, etc...
So do your research first before you choose a side.

A bit of a misnomer. They don't want to slow down your internet per say. They want to control the content you can see, and charge said content extra money to be allowed be seen. And then charge more you more certain content.
All other content is then throttled. There by a form of market control.

They want the internet to be like TV. They want the barrier to entry to increase.
Where only the rich can own channels that you watch. Imagine if anyone could own a tv channel cheaply? News stations like CNN and FOX would no longer exist after some time.

Considering the us government is bleeding money, can't provide decent universal healthcare, focuses on sensationalist trends, interferes with other nations civil wars, and is full of old overweight overpaid morons, do you really think they have the ability to decide anything?
