no not wrong ccuz i can see 20/20 and clearly but its like when i take m off i see worse maybe its cuz im not used to them yet i hope
Oh. You should work on your wording. Yeah, that's pretty normal. Your eyes adjust to the glasses and its weird when they're off.
In that case, it could be either your eyes getting worse, or just you not being used to it. It might be temporary, maybe check again after you rest your eyes
1. You're eyes aren't adjusted yet. They're finally used to seeing well and have adjusted to the glasses but then you took them off and messed up your perception. Mostly likely just your eyes trying to refocus. 2. You're doctor got the prescription so off it went to china. In that case, they're just plain ruining your eyes and you should stop wearing them. This isn't really likely, but if when you wear your glasses for too long it hurts or feels strained it could be this. In this case either: a. throw your glasses into the nearest incinerator or b. pray to god that you're wrong Oh, and talk to your doctor if it has happened for more than a week. Have another eye examination just in case.
Let your eyes adjust for a day or two. If it still persists after 2 days, go see the doctor again. Every time I get glasses, I feel weird because everything is suddenly way too sharp and my eyes takes some time to readjust
You can still see pretty much(sort of) perfectly if your glasses are too strong(you even might be able to see farther?). So don't think that if you can see it's fine.
You may have an issue with focusing your eyes, especially if one eye was stronger than the other. Did you have any trouble with bumping things or being clumsy before you got glasses? Edit - Also try reading or using your laptop close by with only one eye at a time, see if each eye works individually.
At first all is really weird (like looking to the ground) but you will get adjusted little by little. But if it's a glasses for far sight and you are alright with short distance, you can take it off but you better use for the most of your day to get adjusted.
Whenever I get new glasses with a new prescription, I always feel a bit dizzy and disoriented due to the increased sharpness. As for blindness and blurriness, it has not happened to me.
\ no i can see just that it blurry af, before i could walk without them but now its likes everything is blurry af.
What did the doctor say the glasses were for? Depending on why you got them will change how you are supposed to use them. For example, if you can't see anything far away clearly then the glasses would be for making things that are far away appear closer and clearer. In this case things that are already close to you could become blurry because the glasses would make them appear even closer and they may be too close for you to see clearly. Sorry if this didn't make sense. Not sure how to explain it without going into the physics of light. IMO there are three possible reasons for your issue. First two have already been said by others: the doctor messed up (either with making the prescription or you got another person's prescription) or your eye's are just adjusting (shouldn't take that long for most people, at most a couple of minutes). The last option is what I was talking about in the beginning: using the glasses in a situation they weren't meant to be used. Edit: when I say adjust I mostly mean your eyes refocusing which shouldn't take that long unless your eyes are really slow/tired.
