New Recommendations System

Both of them have leads that like mature women but are stuck with 'plains'. So, in a way, it's not completely wrong XD

 

Thanks. Just a sugestion when chosing with novel to recomend could we chose from a specific reading list?
I am a menber for a few weeks but already have enough novels in my reading list that chosing from all is kind of ...
So it would help and beside if the reading list is organized on cn jp, tags and so on it would make easier for the user to do a better recomendation.

They should make it easier to vote for an existing recommendation.
Shouldn't there be a downvote as well?

I've been looking for a review dislike and want a down vote as well but @Tony hasn't gotten there yet

 

You can still only see 5 recommendations, 10 if you click edit. Most people were hoping for a scroll down list or expand button that would show the full list.

 

Hey @Tony , What if i add a series only for the sake of recommending it in another series. Then after that, i removed the series from my reading list.. will that invalidate the recommendation?

 

It would be nice (don't know if possible) that the recomendations form a web, so when I put a list of recomended novels for an specific novels, that novel appears in the recomended novels of all the others too..

 

From what other people said, removing a novel from your reading list instantly removes it from the recommendations.

Also, thank you very much for this function @Tony-chan! I probably won't recommend anything to anyone because I'm lazy, but this will probably make my reading list bigger, which I'm quite grateful for, so thanks a bunch!

 

@Tony we can't recommend works we can't add to reading lists (e.g. campione) would it be possible to get a patch so we can recommend works that aren't on reading lists, but have no releases (or only has whatever quirk of archived releases some series get)?

I was thinking but isn't it better to have a tag voting system? something like this tag is more suited to this novel so i a vote for that and then novels with similar tag voting are showed in the recommendation... i think i saw somewhere that system thought i don't remember

 

What I have done since ages is to have a recycle bin list when I put all the dropped by me or droped by translator novels so I don't tend to delete novels from my reading list, but just let them be in a "reading list" of things I doi not read anymore.-

 

@Tony could you add a show more option to the recommendations so you could see the top 10?
since when you edit the recommendations you can actually see the 10 most recommended I though that it could be nice to show all these 10 if you wanted to know more novels in case you had read all those 5 that are shown and maybe there is a good one in the rest that aren't showed
