I've been overdosing on translations for a good long time now. Sometimes hitting 16 hours a day on the weekends, and averaging at least 8-10 hours a day on weekdays between actual reading and listening text to speech on raws. I think following so many different stories at the same time has really messed with my memory and concentration. It's actually surprising that I can actually get anything done. So no more translations or web novels in general for a month for me starting June 5. I will instead spent that time learning more about Unity, VR/AR, ML and neural networks. This I vow! Hopefully I won't just fall back into TV, comics/manga or games as a substitute. Oh, the willpower is just so low at times... without the constant adrenaline rush everything seems so faded and mundane. Maybe there should be a compulsive readers anonymous.
I have the same issues, tend to put other things off to read and check NU often to see if the stories I'm current on have updated. Compulsive readers anonymous should be made for people like us.
Smash computer/grind it into dust/bury all technology in your backyard and disconnect internet. You'll either become a happy productive hermit or suffer acute tech withdrawal and have to be admitted for thinking your friend was a cultivator~
What is 'break'? Can I eat it? -from someone who did 20 chapters per week due to sponsors And I will laugh if I find another thread by you tomorrow, lol. Please do it
You seem to think free time is something that can be spent doing learning non stop.... this is a mistake that will cause you great pain in the future... I recommend just getting a job that's fun that should sate your desire to learn and then you can keep reading like the rest of us slaves to the NU landing page.
+1 for Compulsive Readers Anonymous I'll join. Though it isn't affecting my memory, it is affecting my time management. I do manage to get things done on time, but before, I did things before time
Oh and ps, don't learn unity, learn to code well then make something in unity, plus unless you understand the math, don't bother with neural networks unless you do something really basic with them.
