What i mean is something like in dragons peak, where the heroine isnt tsundere/yandere/kuudere/otherbullshitdere. A likebale romantic interest with more than one side of charachter. Also im writing this im not even sure that the heroine in dragons peak was this good, it might be just because i want it picked up, thats my brain makes it better than it actualy is.
She might not be a yandere, but she can still wield a pretty mean stick to beat certain beings. Not the MC, she beats up the 'matchmaker' who engaged the two out of nowhere, most of the time.
History's Strongest Senior Brother has some really good women so far, though no romance as of yet. Some very natural back and forth between the MC and one of them though, so I have high hopes for any romance the novel develops. All the story-relevant women have actual, realistic personalities.
"After Exchanging Shadows" is a yuri with pretty good characters. It's about two actresses - one who's in fashion, one who no longer is - who swap bodies after getting caught in the same accident together.
I doubt I've perfectly grasped what you meant by "Normal". But try Gekkou. Youko isn't your typical one dimensional character.
