Recommendations Novel about a normal people playing an MMORPG?

    i wanted to know if is there a novel about normal people (average people) playing in a normal computer MMORPG, (like World of warcraft or something like it)

    PLEASE, AGAIN, I am NOT looking for: Virtual Reality, going to another world, death game or stuck in a game....

    I am looking for Just a bunch of guys(maybe girls) playing a game day by day having their fun in Real Life and in-game, no "real fantasy" just people playing a game in real life... I was searching for it but I could not find any good written novel, any good suggestions?, good fanfics could be good too if you know any... i just want something heartwarming a bit, to remember my old days playing MMORPGs in my infancy. (I like comedy and nostaugia)

    A Slight Smile is Very Charming might fit, though it focuses more on the romance between the protagonists who meet in-game then the game itself, due to the ladder being the main medium of communication it's still quite important

    I know the genre's called fantasy, but it seems like too much of a stretch for normal people playing MMOs to actually happen.

    Sure it's a VRMMO, but it's a normal one and the guy just chills and plays for fun

    is that difficult to find a story with people playing a computer game together? seriously? VRMMORPGs and transported to another world ar efun and all but to not have a single story about people playing normal computer games, to me, is shoking(-ly lame)

    Playing a MMORPG or a VRMMORPG doesn't make much difference from a narrative perspective since you be writing it in almost the same way so they usually go with the VR aspect because it allows writers to be a little more "realistic" in their MMORPG worlds.
