To make a better directories, I think NU need a rule for new novel submission to filled some form/field. You must filled thing like: Novel Type (Web Novel and Light Novel is for Japan Novel only) Genre Atleast 1 Tag Language Author Year Published Status in COO (xx chapter/completed/discontinued) Original Publisher Description or Synopsis
And not that much of a good idea IMO, some people may not know even half of that, but want to add the novel anyway, so they don't fill what they don't know. Would probably just get in the way of people adding new novels to NU.
@brasca123 And what's the point of adding novels you know nothing about? I would require at least these: 1. English or Romazined name 2. Original name 3. Author 4. Publisher The rest can be researched from that. @palaraya Genre is already required.
Yeah... There's lots of times when people don't know the information. I'd rather people leave it blank than fill it with wrong information. Most people who add novel pages are usually not the translator, so they only know what they can find on the translator page. Most translators only list the novel name (sometimes only the English translated name ) and the author. If they're nice, they include a synopsis. There are a few times I've added novels and I honestly couldn't figure out the genre based on the information given on translator sites. :|
