The novels I read so far hardly touch the subject of the clans and only take it as a starting point, do you know any that focus on it?

I too would like a novel which focuses on that, the closest examples I know of are World of Cultivation and Undefeated God of War. Though I really would like some more xianxia / xuanhuan which focuses more on it.
You know you can try immortal executioner.... even though mc didnt create the sect but after he joined without mc it would be destroyed so you can say its kinda stayed with his efforts plus most of the resources in sect later on were from mc... i can only think of it as a closest example.
Don't know any so far. I've seen some that dealt with sect founding, mercenary group creation, kingdom building and other factions being created, but not exactly clan creation. I mean, how exactly do you even start a clan or what does it take for it to be considered the start of a clan? Maybe Xian Ni qualifies to some extent since Wang Lin is said to be the Wang clan's founder, though I have no idea.
Seoul Station’s Necromancer, from what I remember that he did reject all big famous clan and build his own clan/guild for dungeon. I didn't stay with update chapters so I'm not sure but I know he did create his own one.
