What is a crazyhourse!? >.<

Well, if you all wish, you can give me your timezones and expected activity times, it will be easier for me to match people up like this... Last round I did it mostly based on what I saw at activity time for the round 1.

Crazyhouse is normal chess, except you can place pieces you've taken.

 

Oh... I've played something similar, but it was actually on a 2v2 chess.

We played with 2 boards, each team had 1 player as white and the other as black, when you captured a piece, you gave it to your teammate, and your teammate could use a turn to put the pieces you have captured on the board on his size.

Was pretty fun! \(^^)/

 

That is a pretty fun way to play (unles ur opponent stalls till his guy takes a queen for a queen so he can place it), but a possibility we can do is game of round robin chess. 2 players on each team, it goes team 1 player 1, team 2 player 1, team 1 player 2, ect~
I wanna try it but its gonna be harsh w/o coordination~

 

Well, since this is a for fun format, we usually ran in one out of two options:

1) You can stall as much as you want, but you might end up losing due to your time running out. (obviously only works on timed matches.)
2) Use the rule of common sense, if you are in a situation that you need a piece right now, force your partner to do an exchange quickly, if you don't absolutely need the piece, you can stall a small bit to pressure your partner to give you the right piece already, but not by too much.

I only played this with IRL friends, but we never had any sort of problems for as long as we ran one of those rules, the other option is to force both doubles to always stay on the same turn count, which absolutely stops stalling.
