Well, let's get down to business! Team chess will be played by our beloved teams that were willing to sacrifice themselves for the sake of making this event more fun! A round of applause to them!!!

So... How will this work? We have 3 weeks to play, so we'll have 3 rounds of matches, our deadline is the 21st of October! NUF's anniversary! \(^^)/

I'll pair two teams to play with one another and we'll have 2 different games ongoing per round.

I'll post the board here and the teams will have to move their pieces on their turn, just reply to the previous post and delete the [QUOTE][/QUOTE] thing and put your move there, the only rule is that the same person can't move pieces of their team twice in a row. You need to change between your players.

Also, since there will be 2 games ongoing at the same time, make sure you're replying to the right board...

You're also free to mess up on the match of the other team as you see fit, just make sure that no game has 2 mess up moves in a row, nor does it have 2 mess up moves in a row for the same side.

Second post will have a TOC, 3rd post will have the 1st board and the 4th post will have the 2nd board, I swear I'll curse your entire family if you dare to make any post in this thread before I monopolize the first 4 posts!!!

You don't need to put anything if you don't want to, but if you want, you can put them on algebraic notation, it would make it easier for someone to remake the game later if they wished to.

You don't need to put the original position of the piece Nah-chan! Just the later position is fine!

And on the case of pawns, you don't need to put the piece's name either.

So... Just h4 is good for this!

So, technically, could only 2 team members take part to play a full game against the other team?
Or do you want every team member to have taken a turn?

Technically speaking, a game could be played by only 2 people from each team... But that would be kinda against the spirit I guess?

Ideally everyone would take a turn, but I decided to not make this kind of restriction because timezones and RL can be quite troubling, so I just made the decision of not doing 2 moves in a row instead.

 

That's okay, I just wanted to clarify in case some of our members were unable to play.
