Got exams and a bunch of other stuff I'm supposed to finish in the next 2 weeks

 

If for debating, always ready.
For participating, ONLY in team as I currently have my exams going on. And after the exams, I need to take part in a debate competition IRL. I think this is what you needed to know?

As for research, I'm not sure exactly whats being looked for, but I have plenty of reasons for polygamy, and plenty of arguments against many reasons against polygamy, if that's what you mean.

 

Well as long as you coordinate with your team it'll be fine.

Anything Pro-polygamy is fine to be used.

 

Now that I think about it, do we need to site our sources, or are we going by the honor system?

 

I'll assume you're not blatantly plagiarizing or anything like that, though there is a questioning phase and if you aren't able to answer questions cuz you just copy-pasted then you'd get marked down.

 

@kyuukestu no sorry was busy this past week entirely studying, so I wasn't really researching. So unless I do some random stuff and throwing things together I can't continue. Sorry!

 

Eh I've been too busy today (and the past few weeks) with prior commitments and while I could debate, I don't frankly know how well a job I could do with the limited amount of research I've done. If you need me to, I can certainly do it, but I wouldn't be doing my best job.

 

Considering that about half of the Debaters are now busy, I'll take the opportunity do do a fairly quick re-organization of the format and Participant list. After which I'll restart this round.

This should be completed by the 19th the Latest. Note that the time frame for debates will likely be slashed to a certain extent.

Debates will re-begin on the 21st, all participants should be somewhat prepared by then(hopefully). The team debates will be split into Duos to accommodate the new number of participants.

Is it going to be like a back and forth style, I say one reason, they counter my reason and say a reason of their own, and so on and so forth.

The teams will be posted in the opening post along with the topic.

You'll have to put your blog of text in the presentation phase, and then the other team can propose counter arguments in the counter argument phase, and then you can defend against them afterwards in the defense phase.
