Discussion Path of Exile 3.0: The Fall of Oriath, Luanches today/tonight

So excited. I am going to be playing as a Ranger - Raider, Dual Wilding - Double Stike.
The 3.0 patch notes where over 30k words and the patch it's self if 7.1 gb.

What is this?

 

A good f2p hack and slash game, similar to diablo.

Diablo alternative, a game.

 

I played the game since open beta. Really impressed with the patches and improvements to the game made overtime. Bought the regal supporter pack long time ago, first supporter pack set they introduced.

Unlike the official successor of Diablo 2 lol. Ya know wat I'm sayin.

Too bad my 7y/o laptop can't handle this game anymore and now my ps4 is my main gaming hub. Tbh though, the ps4 exclusives are absolutely worthy to get the console for.

Enough about that though, ill be watching some streams once the 3.0 goes live.

 

Yes, me to i was in the beta but the new pack lag.

 

I used to be the same, but they have really fine tuned the game. Especailly now with the 3.0 patch. They did some fine tuning where the game dumbs down the graphics while fighting if the fps drop too low and because it is so hectic when fighting under those situations you don't notice it. Also they cut down cast animation frames to really speed up the game. I can play it just fine on my old brick with only 2gb of RAM. They game has come a long way since Beta.

 

Played it for quite some time .. i still haven`t found my OP build !!!

 

You can take advantage of cloud gaming in such case. PS Now offers ps3 and some ps4 games for pc this way. There are also services with Linux clients or are browser-based so you can finally get rid of Windows.

 

I played for a bit, but quit because I hate games where you cannot use WASD to move (the reason why the only MOBA i play is SMITE), I haven't played in a few months so if controller support is good enough I may pick it up again.
EDIT:
I have a script that will let me move in D3 with WASD luckily.

 

I will try it out. A friend of mine even got an empty guild which I can use. Does anyone want to play together?
Edit: Also if someone could help me with a build for fun would be cool

I just wish that there wasn't such a clear speed meta. I don't really want my character to have to have lunatic spasms level attack speed in order to stay competitive in late-game.
