Manually download the old software from Samsung website and move it on to your phone or sd card and install it, this way use to work before but don't know with new phones

 

They don't tell you it takes 12 hours to download the firmware. There's a speed limit cap of 20 kbps.

 

I have an s7 edge and it hasn't exploded yet...Some of these cases of explosion might not be real

 

I don't know about you, but it takes me less than 5 seconds to download though.

 

If you download from SamMobile or Samsung Updates, it takes hours. They host their files on a 3rd party mirror sites.

it feels like someone just wants iPhone users to blow up their own phone nya~
and in the process maybe kill all iPhone users too nya~

Just like for iTunes and iPhones, you can download the latest firmware for samsung galaxy, but you can't download previous versions of the firmware, which is what the op wants to do.

I can tell you're not a samsung owner. That website allows you to download Samsung Smart Switch [iTunes], which you can then upgrade your phone to the latest firmware. There's no direct download for old or previous firmware versions. Similar to Apple.

 

Then suck it up and wait for the 20kps download? Instead of complaining, why don't you search one firmware site?
I couldn't search one because OP doesn't give me his model number.

 

You would think if this is real they would introduce it to the iphone 7 instead of removing the freaking audio jack cause they wanna be revolutionary

 

I am pretty sure there are lots of sites that provide old firmware tho...
I use to jailbreak a lot and there are lots of site that gives to download older firmware so you can be jailbreak compatible.... of course until Apple patches it... I assume it is the same for Samsung?

I mean, wouldn't that explain the why the price increases ever so much every year while the design and software is almost basically the same thing nya~?
