For these strange people that click on this thread without first reading the story: Picking Up a General to Plow the Fields c3: How does she know what currency is used in her new life? Even if she just guessed it based on her knowledge of history, how would she know how much it was worth in that specific village or how much money the Yang family had to have any hope of setting a reasonable price? c5: I don't understand why she was upset that the MC was intelligent. Who would want a stupid daughter-in-law who was easily tricked? Are they trying to breed stupidity and gullibility into their bloodline? c10: Murdering them in their sleep seems like a good plan. They could steal the food back without murdering them (maybe), but they'd definitely just come and steal it again, probably after roughing up the kids. Well, assuming that they haven't sold the rice already. I'm not sure why they wouldn't have sold it though. They don't need that much rice and I assume that they have habits to support or things they'd like to buy. Still, if the kids are their only living relatives, they could take the house and everything in it, which might be even better. Though they would run the risk of picking up whatever outstanding debts those two losers have while they were at it. @holyshin could you link this to the series page?
