Mate doesn't feel like she is closer to him in my opinion. Haha it must be because where I am from "mate" can be used in everyday conversation to address someone. Like "Hey mate~ How you doing today~?"
Lol~ Must be that then, I don't think there is anywhere else in the world who uses mate as everyday slang I am curious on how the ML introduces the MC to others though...makes me tempted to dig through the raws and try and find it with my limited knowledge (T^T)
Actually Qin Wangfei is pretty distant since it's an official title. He uses it a few times but mostly in official/formal settings. When they stop using "your lordship" and "chenqie" when speaking with each other (and go to the much more informal "I"), then you'll know they've started getting close. Ehehe. ^-^
No, what I meant was, has he told/introduced her in anyway to people as his wife. I wasn't meaning in the way of saying they are close or that he is subtle telling people he cares.
Not as far as I recall. It's assumed as soon as they're together--either people recognize Han Yunxi, or Long Feiye, or both. Or they figure it out as soon as someone says "Qin Wangfei" or "Duke of Qin." Introducing her as his wife would be too informal/casual. They're technically high nobility/part of the imperial family. (Saying she's Qin Wangfei is the equivalent of calling her his wife, basically.) Annnd they're too famous for people not to know them. Annnd there's the fact that Long Feiye just doesn't keep women around him, period, so the only one hanging around him all the time has to be his wife. I've only read up to the first 500 chapters though, so who knows?

I would like to ask some spoiler because I'm not clear of what happened can someone explain to me this : Spoiler When Longfeiyue lose his seal, I understood that he can die from it or he can lose his sanity because of the power he can not handle or something like that, since it wasn't his first time to lose his seal. So my question is, How was possible for him to control his power in the end ? since he doesn't use the seal anymore
