    Hello! I'm matcha, a pretty obscure chinese translator at KawaiiDaikon. A long time ago I translated around 6-ish volumes of stuff at Baka-Tsuki... but I've since fell off the radar and shifted genres to less mainstream things. In particular, I'm only currently open to translating shoujo, josei, romance, one-shots, and very unusual light novels have have chinese translations.

    Recently I've gotten back into translating and started a bunch of teasers. Here are the novels I have translated teasers for:
    Here are some novels that I also have my eye on potentially translating:
    • Koushite Kare ha Okujou o Moyasu Koto Ni Shita (aka. Okujou) (Teaser available)
      • Genre: Seinen, Slice-of-life, suicide (trigger warning), ONE-SHOT
      • Would re-translate/TLC chapter 1
    • Shokubutsu Zukan (Teaser available)
      • Genre: Romance, shoujo/josei (something), ONE-SHOT
      • Artwork reminds me of Tatami Galaxy
      • Would re-translate/TLC chapter 1
    • Victorian Rose Tailor (cover art)
      • Genre: Shoujo, Victorian/historical, Romance
    • Okitsune-sama [お狐サマ] (cover art)
      • Genre: Shoujo, romance, fantasy, shinto/fox god bishie
    So... poll time!

    I am open to suggestions, but (1) it needs to be a very non-mainstream, (2) I need to be able to find a Chinese translation of it, and (3) I'm really interested in finding more untranslated one-shots (no matter what genre they are)!

    I would go for a ln about a cute spider in a dungeon which just came out (?)

    But then again i don't know if its non mainstream nor if there is a cn translation already....so i will vote for shinigamihime i guess....

    Dokuhakihime to Hoshi no Ishi!
    Based on writing style and story, I feel that Dokuhakihime is the best one. It only has one volume, so you could move to other project after.

    I've been waiting to read this since the prequel was translated.
    It looks like you've already done the prologue too.

    btw you can see from the poll that matcha actually wanted to do Dokuhakihime because the poll has two Dokuhakihime. So, the poll is a lie. LoL

    previously imoutolicious were translating it but I don't know why they stopped midway through col 2. its seriously good!
    its a Korean light novel so don't know if you could do it, but if you can then Please please please try... please...

    Watashitachi no Tamura-kun has a completely translated manga so unless the novel goes beyond that, my vote goes to the other novels.

    Shinigahime~ I've read the manga (the one with the cute art) and it's cute ('cause the art)! Victorian Rose Tailor also looks good ('cause of art), and maybe Shokubutsu Zukan (because art!)...So...I'm just gonna pick the ones with cute art covers...*gets kicked*

    Also voted for dokuhakihime.
    I read the prequel Mimizuki(would recommend it everybody), the the author's writing style is very great, the story line was amazing too.
    btw, mimizuki is pretty dark so I'm guessing this one will be too
