Discussion [POTENTIAL SPOILERS] Most epic/memorable moment in a novel

What are your most epic/memorable moments and why in a novel? It could be anything be it an awe-inspiring one that makes your heart pound, a funny one that makes you LOL or even a touching scene.
I will try to be vague to avoid spoilers but personally I don't mind just add a spoiler tag or something.
Generally I get impressed by quick wits/plotting. Here's a few of mine:
ISSTH: I go WOW every time the MC gains a revelation and I particularly liked the part about the lake/sea.
TDG: I lmao-ed hard at the tea-bagging formation xD
LLS: I laugh at every single antic/lie the MC makes, and I found the modified poem really amusing(maybe its cuz I can relate to the original?)
ATG: "HuangFu" what he did with the "dragon core" was really interesting and made a lasting impression.

 

lms: reading it for the first time. it was the first good web novel i was exposed to

 

And now back to this Furnace Lord who has been pretending to be Grandmaster Pill Cauldron

Well I got a lot of exam and projects, etc. Wish I could be like Potato.
I try to keep up with the forums but now it just to crazy. I still remember back when the forum came out and I was number 5. Now I'm just a nub.

 

And here i thought you taught him the cloning technique

Douluo Dalu

Spoiler: if you haven't caught up than

when xiao wu died, and gave her spirit to tang san. That moment way too sad, and I didn't expect it at all

 

i made my own. it sucks though

 

Ze tian ji: luo luo duel against guan fei bai. And the last part where he was being a sore loser and got humiliated by luo luo.

 

It's got to either be the first conflict between Nie Li and Ye Zong in TDG or the copper mirror exploding butts in ISSTH. It's not just about the juvenile humor but because I didn't expect it at the time.

That one was pretty big too, but it didn't strick me as something completely unexpected for the genre so it ended up surprising me less than the two I metioned.

 

someone posted a major spoiler a while ago on there. it was a summary of the volumes that went way beyond the one it is currently on.
