    Check the dates on who posted what firsbefore you assume that. It isnt impossible that QI stole those covers and just cropped or altered them enough to slip by.

    Even if the illustrators ripped it off, Qidian as a company should still be responsible. Also, as some people have said, unless you are very rich & influential, you can't really get anywhere in Chinese courts.

    Not that. I mean, why Qidian couldn't just hire an illustrator to draw it... Don't know... Like Japanese LN Cover... Or Chinese Manhua cover.

    Geez... Qidian is rather cheap... Qidian could recruit random illustrator for whatever Pixiv equivalent of China, right?
    Even Indonesia Publisher can do better...

    The illustrator name is a local Indonesian guy named Nicholas Filbert.

    maybe they copied these cover cause novel reader in china would't realise it since the google, facbook, youtube, ETC. are bloked by the goverment and the author of the original picture it self wouldn't know it either since all(maybe) of the authors are not from china and probably never open chinesse novel websites thus they won't realise it.
