Yes. I've seen ratings drop about 0.2 - 0.5 points since the whole QI thing. Why do you ask?

Personally I've never given ratings on any novel.

But I'm guessing yes people do that. Kinda unfair really if it's done simply cos it's on qidian. If it's cos the quality is poor then fair enough

Short answer is yes but there's more to it than that. You might start seeing novels hosted on Gravity Tales also going down in ratings too (;);)).

Edit: I personally don't downrate based on hosting site. I downrate or uprate based on quality of translation (how easy it is to follow as a native English US speaker), the use of cliches or story in general and sometimes tags (nope on NTR). There are people who just plain downvote due to one indecent though (like a rape scene where there was no recourse or because of to much action like gore or MC being a killing machine). Ultimately up too you wether you want to read novel or not. Also avoid reviews with little to no detail on why reader hated novel as those guys are clueless and understand fantasy genres (I mean, it ain't real life. It's make believe, just enjoy the ride).

yes , the same as ntr and harem novels, if you see this tags just elimante one quarter of the 1 if you like the tag and you should get the correct rating

Yeah, a novel went down from a 4.5 rating to a 4.1-4.2 when it moved to qidian (was being translated by alyschu previously)

I personally thinks it's a bit unfair if they do it solely because it's qidian rather than their opinion on the actual novel, but I wouldn't put that past people :/ personally I wouldn't do that though.

If you mean attention to detail of useless things and terrible memory of important things...I guess...

Though that number is simply based on the ones I remember seeing and may not be representative of the actual average.

In the rating is factored also the translation, so while it is true that there may have been a 'hate' rating, it is also true that the quality of translation on QI is not up to par, as said from multiple sources.
Having not read those novels I can't tell you how much both those things changed the votes, but I can reasonably say it is a bit of both.

True, but maybe @Tony can add a possibility to rate the translator (group) in the future?

I will note that in the NU review guidelines:

"reviews of the translator. You are reviewing the novel, not the translator"

Though I will admit part is NUs fault for not making a separate rating for translators.

I am pretty sure it still happens, though; in some reviews it is even explicitly said.
As you said the problem is that there is no separate rating and that means that sometime the rating is not purely to the novel.

Yes... Since the rating is just eventually a subjective measurement. So if people feeling changed, the rating changed too.

    Perfection does not exist
Take it with a grain of salt
Number of readers is a better measure of an enjoyable novel*
*Note I didn't say good, because a good novel is subjective
I recommend looking at the other reviews of people who have given a positive review of novels that you enjoyed
