Hello guys and gals. Just a quick question. Are you willing to eat a dish made of rabbit meat? I own a farm and soon I will open a restaurant. I decided to that the target consumer will be those health conscious individuals as rabbit meat is very healthy(unlike beef and pork) and I can make a sideline in fur business and some parts can be add up to the organic manure that we produce. But the rabbit are so cute!!! I am quite hesitant to pursue this because I might incur a heavy backlash. So please answer and comment your opinion down below ^__^
have done rabbit meat is easy to process fur can be sold and they repopulate really quickly only backlash you gone get is from stupid animal rights people which will happen more often if you are a westerner if your asian just do it we eat weirder shit desu
It should be fine if they are treated humanly and least it's better than the treatment of chickens. Yeah rabbit meats is pretty good.
from what i hear about SEA you guys eat that balut shit thing right desu ka? rabbit sounds better in my honest opinion desu tho cooking rabbit meat is not well developed desu
Anyone want to share strange or uncommon food they've eaten. My family is Chinese and we eat a lot of different types of food. When my friends came over once, we had chicken feet and they were wondering what in the world it was. I used to be literally the only Asian (probably entire town) at my old school so they found traditions strange like when I invited them for hot pot on Chinese New Years. I've also had frog, quail eggs, a lot of different pickled vegetables, exotic fruits, herbs, pig feet, and a bunch of things that I don't even know the name of. There was some sort of seafood that was white, the texture of soft cartilage, and tasteless. Also seaweed-like black seafood flavorless stuff too. Once my grandmother grounded some bone of some animal (I think it was deer antler or something) as Chinese medicine.
do local people eat them? ask around. sound like an opportunity. would love to know how you are going to sell them.
Actually, there is nothing special on it. It just taste like chicken and egg mixed together. You just need to be particular on the age of the egg(depending of its type) so that it will not be too gross. ahahaha
It probably does taste like that, but I'm less disturbed by the looks and taste and more by the texture. Like how does bird feel when you eat it. I doubt it's that soft like what about the beak, bones, and claws.
Nope. There is no available market right now about that kind of meat that is why I want to create one. As for how,, that's a secret ahahaha It is soft if the age is appropriate. You won't even notice it if you close your eyes while eating
Would i eat rabbit meat? of course! The only people i can think of reacting to such idea would be "Radical Vegans" EDIT: Rabbit meat aside i would like to try this!
opening a restaurant sounded like a good choice. just don't sell only rabbit meat, sell other things too. the problem might be in getting others to eat the meat.
