@Rena.anggreina the reason ML fell for MC was because MC was very good interacting with him. She doesn't make problems for him so he feels very refreshed when he spends time with her. Kind of like, a man will reach a limit to a woman always needing his attention, right? That was what happened to ML. Because the cousin-concubine at everytime was always whining,crying and mistrustful so ML feels exasperated and hurt always coaxing her. While MC, has a very gentle and lovely aura and attitude so it gives a fresh time to ML. And also MC was very thoughtful to ML compared to cousin-concubine. Also, MC trusts ML's promise so ML feels good and pleased about someone trusting him to keep his word.. ah, i remember the right term, the ML grew tired of the cousin-concubines tricks while MC was always thoughtful to him.

While MC was very distrustful at first, she always remembers her past life, but because ML was very good to her and is always showing affections she decided to risk and let herself fall for him.

Hahahaa it's okay @ChuChi I like it that way, btw can you spoil ML jealous moment? Did he suspect MC loving another man that's why she want to divorce him

 

I can't think of anything at the moment except for the later chapters, as in the ending arc, because they were already married by then. And i think, the MC already said that she knows(?) that ML has a childhood sweetheart so that was why she wanted to have a divorce but only after a month so her family wouldn't receive such a huge backlash.

when she was rescued by this old woman and her son became obsessed with her. And then ML found out where she was being kept, he devised a plan to help her escape because he cannot outright take her back as the "rival" was a royalty while he is only a rich merchant. So the escape was succesful, but there was an instance that it was implicated that MC might be "impure" because she spent a long time with another man, but ML trust the MC implicitly. He was just happy to be with the MC, even when other's doubt her, he usually takes the MC's side.

Edit: ah, sorry, the deal was a 1 year marriage... and there was no rival/jealousy acts from ML because it is known all through-out that MC is already married as main wife.

 

Just curious, does her brother's wife still run away, leaving the MC's brother and his daughter?

 

@LivB no, MC manages to do things and stop the events that may give rise to bad feelings of the SIL. Also, it helped that her other brother, the one who died in the first life, became a good scholar, i think top 3, so because the brother was very grateful to their family, the SIL's living also upgraded and also she is satisfied that ML is kind and doesn't look down on them.

@oplopl pretty early, i forgot the exact chapter, but it was at the cousin's "wedding" as a concubine, at her supposed "bridal night", ML heard the cousin cussing and saying bad things while he was hidden.

Something always goes wrong. It's the rule - if it gets mentioned, something will go wrong with it. It gets annoying at some point, every single little thing always gets messed with by the apparently omnipotent cousin -_-;. Anyway, I don't remember anymore, but I think the MC managed to figure something out in the case with the food.

Yes think so. I rmbr reading that too in the chapter 2 translation:

I think they might be referring to the MC's 2nd life.
