your site is in the damn beta, and yet you promise cake on the spot. with no actual explanation on what, why, where, when, who, and more.

First off that damn list is way too long and there is no possible way for you to learn all of the required languages to translate them all, and even if you somehow did you wouldn't have time to actually translate as there would be too many, and even if you take it one novel at a time, that could take years and years of time. Also recruiting original writers is just a ploy to get more novels on you're site so that you can say you have a lot of novels on there and get more people to come and visit. But if somehow you're just trying to be kind and do this with nice intentions, then this is the wrong place to post it and you really should translate first as well as provide a link to you're website, also think through with revenue, promising new people immediate revenue is not smart and you should just really think through everything.

Hi, maybe you should explain it a bit more.

As a writer myself, this is just too vague. You explained the rewards but skipped the introduction. Maybe you can edit your post a bit to introduce more about how things will be going in your site? Hope you could succeed!

    I said two things,
The site is in beta and this is a chance to be first in line which means to be given priority when it's up and running.
Those who are interested can message me. Replying when you are not interested is wasting both of our time

I think he is looking for loyal and reliable people. Nothing wrong with that.

You always start with a dream or a plan and it's good to give certain directions already.

I am bad translator and writer, just couldn't take everybody critizing OP, don't be so negative, concerns and critics are understandable, but I had to point out the good points.

I'm sorry but your post makes no sense. Did you make a tirade against another thread elsewhere then accidentally paste here?

From my experience as a translator under someone else, "share of revenue" doesn't mean shit

The problem is that your post is extremely vague to the point of not even mentioning the site's name or even a tentative name since it's in beta. Also, you're only promising rewards and nothing else about how much you want people to post, schedule, and exclusivity.

To be frank, this seems like a scam. And some pretty malicious sites have cropped up with the same promises. Give more details and put more effort into your post or writers won't even give you the time of day.

I'd say ditch this thread and make a new one once you get everything written out. This one has too much negativity in the replies even if you edit the thread. Btw, I'd advise against doing exclusivity stuff unless you're giving the author very good terms. Most authors of web novels don't like having their story restricted to one platform unless it's their own.

There are already one or two sites with original content
kobatochan-daisuki, gravity-tale, fiction-grill off the top of my head

And share revenue? Why not the authors post it themselves and keep all revenue

PS: Nu said banned site detected and wouldn't let me post until I put the dashes in the names anyone know what's going on

It's really hard to get readers with your own site. So, most writers of webnovels post on sites that can get attention. The ones that want all the revanue tend to have their own site and slowly direct readers from other sites to it. But, readers are lazy so it doesn't always work out.
