Daym.. thats a sad news. I think hotd do quite well in a blance between fan service, action, and post apocalypse story.. too bad. Rest in peace.
Sad to hear that. I love HotD. Normally I abhor fanservice, but understanding Japanese manga market, I didn't find the fanservice in HotD excessive. I dislike how that school teacher made a sex orgy party among the students in the bus, but considering the teacher's philosophy and how adrenaline does make people horny, I can accept that. I like the story because of the interaction between characters and how they acted fairly realistic in a logical sense and there are few infuriating things included just to create tension. It felt like something you would have experienced had you really been in that kind of zombie apocalypse situation. Sure, every romance target are sexy with big tits, but they're not only looks. They also have character, their own motivations and aren't stupid characters. So to the author, rest in peace. I still hope HotD can be continued, but maybe we'll see a parody sometime in the future.
rest in peace. I loved it when I watched it when I was younger. Now the author died and I am still alive oh I read "highschool dxd". Ah I only saw a little bit of highschool of undead, didn't like it so much, but may his soul find peace in the heavens, he was so young

I liked how the anime looked and how it tried to have a plot. Although the show came at a time where I think world and myself was becoming tired of of the overused zombie genre. Worry not though he will live on through our memories. Until we die than yeah he dies completely as well.
So for all those waiting for HOTD to get back it has finally ended it's hiatus, but not in the good way. The mangaka actually died from some disease. So the manga is now dead as well. Sadly that guy passed away. too bad we wont get to see his work anymore.

And that's your way of spreading the news. A title to trick fans that's its coming back, only to say the author died. Don't know if its true or not, but that's low. If you wanted to say the author died use a appropriate title.
