Ah man, I'm just so sick of people thinking that I'm dividing up the author's chapters into parts or something... If I were to give an explanation, the author made it so that each "chapter" is like an arc, and each "part" is like a chapter. Man, even the thieves think I divided up the chapters and fused all the chapters into one... I just... sigh.. If I were to bring up a quote from the legendary Invisible Dragon: "ah really so many complains hey guys why do you think 7000 days are 20 years why do you think like that??? in duikes world 7000 days is 2 years ah really so annoying why wouldnt you know that" As the author of invisible dragon says, why wouldn't you know that? Why do you think 1 chapter isn't 1 arc??? In author's story 1 chapter is 1 arc ah really so annoying >.> welp, done talking about how annoyed I am of the chapter-arc misunderstanding. I know I never said it was a single arc, but damn did it get annoying. Let's talk about the actual chapter now. 1.7 was the last part of the basic training "arc", and the mc now essentially turned all the children into greedy foodies. Shame we never really got any info on what the food was actually like.
Failure to localize, or provide context. If you release as chapter one part one or tag it as 1.1 instead of something like v1c1 or a1c1 people are going to think it's c1p1, especially if it's short. Make a note somewhere for the pedantics who will call you out for changing it to admit you did it and why, and change it so the rest don't bug you about breaking up chapters. Either way you end up managing peoples impressions. Also most releases comes as chapters, not parts of chapters. I think the author is probably using a much more correct definition of the word chapter, but most people don't care too much about using words correctly. Maybe he's a bit of a literary snob in that case though.
@ensj, this humble leech (I read without donating but never stealing) thanks you for your hard work and says if they have so much of a problem then they can just not read it. Why complain of a free translation? And for the thieves may their families die and all they hold valuable be burned to atoms leaving not even ashes.
There should be an 'Episode' function in NU.... So it would be 'ep 1 ch 1' Edit: I never posted a series on NU (kobato was the one who did it) so I don't know how it works.
Because not every 'volume' has a fixed amount of chapters. Besides it's a web novel, so there is no 'volume'.
well obviously people are getting confused by ch 1 part 1, and that is not going to change any time soon. Changing it to vol 1 ch 1 makes it more understandable.
Sigh, it's fine, it's fine. It was just a personal rant. My pissed-off-ness peaked when I found that even the thieves weren't complying with what the author did, and just had to rant somewhere. Now, let's talk about the actual novel, yeah? Let's start it all off with "what do you think about the main character?"

And Weed only got cheats in a vrmmorpg and that was by knowing how to game the game. This MC went to another world without gifts from god so more realistic of what would happen. Also I can't wait til he uses the Iron Bat (demonic weapon).
yeah... he didn't get even language cheat at least, the god over there sucks 囧rz and I am so curious of the reason why the mana of that world refused to get close to mc...
Probably because he is from earth thus their mana hates him. Also I would do the same thing as this MC as being good and evil is just too fun.
I always prefer this kind of MC. Not too evil and not too good. I mean, the generic "For justice"MC is a bit boring for me, while the "Slaughter all!" MC kind of making the story too predictable. And, yes, he is a practical one. Oh yeah, I'm quite concern whether his 'bat punishment' method will really wake some strange thought in one of his student. Hahaha!
