TV Samurai Jack Season 5 Discussion

So did not see any threads like this so I decided to make a thread. Let's discuss the newest and possibly final season of Samurai Jack. This may be spoiler heavy so be warned ahead of time.

 

I'll begin, for those that you saw Episode 1, how do you feel about Jack's sanity and how it's fallen. Especially with the loss of his sword.

I'm surprised he was able to keep his sanity for all these years

 

i feel losing the sword has its pros and cons i dont like the idea but i know jack will get back the katana eventually plus there isnt a lack of good action sequences in the series

 

It was like my inner samurai was singing samurai jack theme song, while looking at his amazing motorcycle.

 

i just need a closure for this amazing series. a good one that is all im asking.

 

most interesting thing to me about the whole deal is how the Samurai lost his sword as the previous sessions did not show that, AND that Aku doesn't know that he lost the sword.

 

I like the notion that he had lost his sword, because frankly, him only sticking to his magical sword for all this years seem pretty unlikely. Also, Aku having a cult, didn't he had those way before?

 

Sadly I only caught the very end of the episode.

Well it was off air for like 10+ years lol. But due to popularity it managed to get a revival as S5.

 

Okay. So, what are your thoughts on season 5 so far. I find it hilarious that both Aku and Jack are sufferring from clinical psychological disorders because of the sheer amount of time they keep up their fight but neither are aware of it.

And the cultists that are doing ritualistic worship to be graced by Aku's presence while most mercenaries and robots contact him by calling him on the phone

 

Let's replace this chat with a discussion about the beloved anime Cory in the house XD - I'm pretty sure there has been a samurai jack thread here in the past 24 hrs...

I am actually stoked to know that this will have some closure, so i'll be sure to watch this in the future... probably... if i don't get butied under novels first

 

I will watch its last episode when the time comes... just to see the ending..

 

episode 2 of season five was a big foreshadow, i think. one dead daughter of aku, one heavily injured jack, and 1 dying white wolf...
i cant even imagine how the white wolf fits into the story.

 

Thw white wolf is probably a foreshadowing of Jack's fate.
What confuses me is the shadow horseman. While he can stand for death. He also seems similar to a Japanese warrior who was known for surviving in the thick of battle no matter how intense and come out the victor even against the odds
