Yeah I just finished watching the movie. So bit of spoiler, but here's my say on it. It's great. It got that Pokemon Go feels to it due to the new game they're playing, Kirito and Asuna romance are better here than the anime counterparts(IMO), graphics from reality to virtual are great, fighting scenes are great , there is this singing from the 'diva' that feels like an ad xD but good music nonetheless, Story is as expected, nothing special yet executed nicely as an 'SAO story', the movie does feel slow at times, but overall a good experience. And as expected from SAO, it got that good ol' Yui-like plot armor (oh SAO and plot armors xD), *no idea what to say anymore so ... 9/10. That's my score. The other 3 friends watching it with me gave it a 6, 7 and 8 respectively. MAL has a 8.6 rating of it as of now. Hmm, this rating of mine is quite high than I expected before I entered the cinema.... must be from the lack of anime that I watch in 2017, and this being the good ones this year. __________________________________________________________________________ Anyways, on another note, I got another certain discussion I wanna talk about. Sword art online has too many plot holes and messed up design for me to enjoy it. You can hack the game to transfer an ai into your nerve gear but you won't give yourself op shit even though this is a life or death situation? Something is wrong
A good example of someone who can't enjoy something as it is. I did not rate this movie because of it's past records, I rate it as it is. A 2 hour movie.

Love the first season when they're still in the death game, and after that is...I hate it a little (dunno why but it's not as interesting as before). And I'm not sure about the movie I'm just gonna give an average rating, 7
that first hacking scene was bullshit in and of itself anyway, i stopped paying attention to all the plot holes after that. Wastes too much energy
Nah....The movie is interesting,although the plot is kinda plain and the tecnology development is kinda unrealistic (pffftttt Necromancer like thing although just 1-3 years after SAO Tragedies..if you say in short)
just watched it yesterday and it's not as good as i expected it would be. there's nothing special in it that makes me feels excited. too simple of a story and a bad climax that made my face like this (-_-). why would you made the boss looks so simple ? and win just like that ? better watched the first season of SAO than this. 6 from me Spoiler: i don't think so to be exact it's kirito's friend from SAO and ALO that saved the day
