A movie with a great story like Pirate of Caribbean series... Where sword and spears were much more common weaponary, not an modern arms and have some ancient history in its story? So far i've watch : Assasins Creed, Pirate of Caribbean series till now, Tomb Raider series and 300 series Edit: West, around 300 or PoC era, some adventure searching for ancient totem or tome, OR the era of Warrior
If you look for special old weapons try to watch some movies of Jackie Chan, when he was still young I like the nun-chucks
yeah or how about The Great Wall? Or just Blade, I mean the vampire hunter uses a god forsaken sword mate
I'll try it lad, jackie chan right? Hmm, isn't it rush hour like? I don't know many movie where he's playing
Gladiator or Braveheart or Ben Hur or Robin Hood or King Arthur EDIT : Princess Bride (No history, but Awesomeness) Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail(Sort of historic?)
west or east? actually just type ancient historical movies on google since IDK how far your ancient mean
Or, or, or, or, you can just use "," mate... West, around era of 300 or Pirate of Caribbean, that 2 are separated by some thousand something years, but both have the same awesomeness of ancient era warfare, PoC not ancient though... But that ghost or monster thing were so good, i need it for my research, im not motivated if only do research on google... Im that kind of person
First off, apologies to my first post, I posted the suggestions in error (didn't notice movie). The 'Sharpe series' by Bernard Cornwell, and the 'Horatio Hornblower' series were made into movies (serialized) by the BBC. I honestly thought the 'Prince of Persia' movie wasn't that bad, but maybe it was because of no expectations. The Thirteenth Warrior is a magnificent, but lesser known movie with a young Antonio Banderas, but it was filmed in Europe (english dialogue), so it may have just not been as noticed by others.
national treasures (2 movies) this should be good for history. It is modern but the history tidbits are a lot. braveheart Gladiator
