I dropped it around chapter 800. It started off good and I kept on reading it in the hope of it becoming better maybe, or the story becoming interesting enough but it didn't so I dropped it. My main reason to drop it were the 1d harem characters who had nothing to do but just stick by CF side, waiting for him to bring more treasure so that they can power up. Also the stupid violence started getting way too repetitive also the hypocrisy of MC being self righteous. I have read most of the novels here and upto date with them, and have nothing to read so should I pick it up again?
If you feel like picking it up back, then do it so. When you get bored of it, you drop it. Then pick it up back when you suddenly want to. That's how you will be a fan.
Yes, its a brain-dead read, no need to think or complicate, it's a fun read too and there's lot of chapters, but remember it's just my opinion.
No one person has the right to tell another whether they should read something or not... but I'll give you my opinion instead. MGA is a bad novel with bad characters. Not worth it.

Due to the warm reception of MGA here, I think I won't try it. Better to invest my time in something better.
many ppl hate, but its an easy read with a bit of shallow characters kinda a hollywood action move, like transformers or fast and furious you know its dumb but worth watching it
I dropped it much earlier than you XD.. Would read it again if it becomes like the first 100 chaps or so where he uses his skills as a doctor and brains XD
I quit reading after the arrival of the hero in the central land. There really is somewhat monotonous. Perhaps after that will be something interesting, but "desolate era" is much more interesting))
what i usually do is save around a 100 chapters then catch up to the latest translation then put it on hold again, as waiting day by day for new chapters is pointless with this kind of novel, but if you have more 400 chapters saved up, then i suggest you give it a go, if you are bored and would like to have something to do...
Who was it who said that MGA was unique again? I'm pretty sure there was someone who scolded me before when I said MGA was repetitive, even going so far as saying it was unique and good. I don't remember that guy's name. Congratulations for reaching chapter 800. I can never have that much patience.
