    Gundam Seed.
    But the one who truly hooked me into Anime culture in general is Sword Art Online.
    Before that, the stuff that I watched is only mainstream stuff like One Piece, Bleach, Naruto, and maybe other Gundam series... Oh, and Pokemon.

    It never got me hooked but my first anime was bleach. I like it at first but now I can't watch it again.

    i used to watch sailor moon/ digimon / pokemon / yu gi oh and whatever anime played on tv as a kid xD

    later i came across my brother watching one piece and i got hooked into anime again >.>

    First ever anime I saw was Blue Blink :) can't remember the next one, I just fell in love with the story narated in anime :)

    been watching anime long before I knew that what I was watching was called anime

    tho what truly got me to admitting that I'm "hooked" was ouran highschool host club

    Filipinos will know what I'm taking about---those years when every morning, the television broadcasts anime shows like: Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Dragon Ball, Yugi-Oh, Fushigi Yuugi, Special A, Slam Dunk, Pokemon... And much more.

    I blame them for making me late for school.

    Dragon ball was pretty much the first anime I watched, but the first anime I downloaded was Chuunikoi, since then I went down the rabbit hole

    The First anime I watched was Pokemon, but what got me hooked was "Shakugan no Shana". I liked pokemon when i was little, but it failed to make me go as far as to search and download it.

    Hummm....got started w/ those old super robot animes back in my childhood (Voltus, Getter Robo, Grendizer, Kotetsu JEEG, Gordian & such), went hiatus for who knows how many years, got hooked up again w/ Love Hina

    Back when funimation was a channel(and still on Verizon), I used to watch school rumble, hunter x hunter(90s version), and solty rei. I also used to watch yugioh on toonami.

    The first one i watch was Crayon Shinchan, then Doraemon and Dragon ball
    But the one that got me hooked on anime was RosarioxVampire #best_vampire hahaha...... make me wanna watch it again....T_T.....
