Mine was skip beat~ and twelve kingdoms that started my 11 years of anime addiction~ but the recent plots of anime I watched seemed to be really similar to one another~ XD I watched plenty of animes haha~ My favorites are still natsume book of friends, D gray man and one piece~
Digimon Adventures. Sure I was watching DBZ and Pokemon, but I didn't know they were Japanese cartoons. Digimon... opened the can of worms. I just had to find out more about it, which lead me to finding fanfiction... and how fanfiction.net does their categories, it made me find out the whole shebang. ...God, I feel really fucking old right now.
Well... I actually watched anime since childhood..... But the anime who was drawing me to DL those niche pirated subbed anime (sorry) was because a junior of mine in medschool played Sword Art Online Season 2 Episode 3. Since at that time the idea of a story of VRMMORPG was kinda fresh, I download it myself (after copying my junior's, long live piracy). While at it, he copied Ano Hana for me. Many manly tears flowed...... (at AnoHana not SAO)... For all its fault, SAO is kinda a nice story... (though it feel lacking somehow, perhaps some details were missing from LN to WN). Then I was kinda occupied by CGDCT animes and absurd comedies like BakaTest, Seto no Hanayome or KoreZon. So... It all begun with Kirito and Suguha (I don't even know who this Asuna chick until I watch Season 1). This was in 2014? Wow... It had been that long huh...... The one that really makes me into LN is MaoYuu (though I do visit BakaTsuki from times to times), due to its manga. I even read the original forum post archive in Japanese, just so I could read far ahead. WN was the aftermath of Shieldbro.
1st Pokemon then naruto my first anime I watched was one of these sailor moon, pokemon, dragonball, dragonball z, digimon, metabots(I think it was called meta bots ) don't remember which order since I was like 4-6 years old
Dubbed Cardcaptor Sakura back in school. Followed by Inu Yasha and FMA. Then, hook, line and sinker>>
My first ever anime, the one that got the first hook in, was Library Wars. the series that sent me flying off the cliff into being hooked on anime was Girls und Panzer with the gratuitous german subs .
My starter anime was Naruto lol. I think in the days I was beginning to watch anime, I was also watching Bleach? With regards to some of the popular anime being mentioned: I watched SAO, and I thought the beginning was good...and it went downhill from there. I have never seen Guilty Crown, but the only good things I hear about it are about the soundtrack and art.
One Piece. The Alabastra arc gave me the feels. My classmate noticed how I liked the show and lent me a 16gb usb stick filled with anime. haha I failed pop quizzes for a week.
I've watched a lot of anime on TV since childhood. I was always pretty obsessed with it, but the one that made discover the word 'anime' and begin the internet adventures was Inuyasha.
Dragon Ball ? Slam Dunk ? Ghost Fighter ? Monster Rancher ? Shaman King. Zenki? oh myy... I feel so old.
Mobile suit Gundam Wings, rouruni kenshin, yu yu hakushu and lupin the 3rd. started watching them more or less at the same time.
