As a new member of this forum I do not know where to post this but someone said to have it here so here it goes. Backstory: The World of Hijani is a world of tranquility. The land, sea and sky were one as peas in a pod. Suddenly the land crumbled and erupted. Some sank into the oceans while others floated into the sky. The world is now riddled with floating islands each housing a multitude of species. Due to the radiation of the explosion multiple species were mutated or born. These species eventually split and conquered islands for their own. The Factions include: The Dragon Harpies: Beings mutated from humans, they carry both Draconic blood lines and Harpy bodies, they have features of humans, harpies and dragons. Sometimes they may have a dragon head, chicken body and the limbs of humans or they could have a human body, dragon limbs and a chicken head. It is known that each Dragon Harpy can control a single element. Some are basic like Earth, Fire or Water; while others can control mysterious attributes like Space, Sound and Clouds. They are mainly female but there are occurrences of male Dragon Harpies. Iron Angels: Iron Angels are automatons that live to pursue knowledge. They often kidnap other species and perform daring experiments in the name of Knowledge. They do not believe in spiritual beings like gods or the underworld as they only believe in results. They are beings that will sacrifice everything they own, even their lives to gain knowledge. The Hivemind: Spirits raised from the dead, they all have a mind that is controlled by a Queen. They refer to others around them as Brothers and Sisters while those older are Mother and Father and the younger generation as Sons and Daughters. They all refer to their Queen as the Great Ruler. They generally do not bother others unless their Queen wills for the destruction of others. Humans: Humans live on any island that can support them, from small villages to sprawling metropolises they overcome the difficulties of living. Due to their inability to move to other islands without their machines and the scarcity of metals they generally do not associate themselves with foreign affairs. Humans can use magic though cheat spells do not exist. Night Beasts: Beings of the shadows, they normally come out at night to hunt for food. The entirety of their species is savage though given time they can form intelligence. Intelligent Night Beasts are dangerous and are often hunted. Night Beast Cores are the currency of the world and its value corresponds to the amount of intelligence it has. Night Beast Cores are also used to cultivate the body, sometimes it will give/enhance a power to the person who cultivates it. The Night Beasts are beings that are on the floating islands, fly through the clouds, or live in the Endless Sea. You will be playing humans from a new settlement that has been established on a newly found island. The only thing you know is that you are surrounded by giant trees and a few cave systems yet to be explored. The buildings so far is 3 storage warehouses, a few huts, a cafeteria, and a barracks and smiths. There is an emergency field hospital and a training field by the barracks. We will roleplay as seen fit, here are some rules before we start for any of those interested. 1. Mary/Gary Sues are banned. 2. Please be courteous and do not Double Post, the only exceptions are if your reply is to long, or you are answering someone else's question. 3. Do not kill other players, the player themselves will determine if they have died or not. 4. Maximum characters per player is 3, unless your the GM then you can be any NPC that shows up or the GM has given you permission to be an NPC 5. 5 Sentences/7 Lines, anything less will get a few warnings before being kicked. 6. Bascially you can't have a god character. Like: Oh I can do everything, cause since i was young i was trained in every subject, combat technique and blessed by the gods to never take damage or even get hit. If I attack then you are instantly dust. , things like that If your not having fun then why Roleplay?
