What did you guys think of the ending of ST? (Actually, has the translation reached the end yet?) I honestly felt that the ending of e series lacked any series mpact, unlike CD (the chronological prequel but spiritual successor) had during its ending, even thoug it felt CD ended in a rushed manner. It's been a few years since I've finished it, so correct me if I'm wrong, but there was this old dude who almost made an entire niverse and given the title of... I forgot the name, but the MC just went straight past him and became an admin. Where are the stakes? I mean, I completely forgot why he participated in this again, as he had already saved his wife from basically everything. And he ather OP back then, even if he wasn't the absolute best. The ending also felt kind of... Weird, as it introduced a new concept to the series and wasn't developed at all in ST. Anyway, might as well read Desolate Era sometime.
Mc became admin of his own world created inside his black hole.I can't understand what u mean about him going past Liney -CD mc ,who created world from ST
Yeah I agree, It had no real feeling of danger(?)/urgency and surprise, I mean Linley went up and told Qin Yu that the next celestial person wouldn't be any of the current participants and he also told him that with the Stellar Transformations technique Qin Yu would soon be Grandmist Controller, felt kinda meh. You can go and read Desolate Era I guess, it's pretty much like any of IET's novels with the standard IET cliches and starts off okay but when it goes bad 10 books in you realise you've invested too much to drop it.
Meh, to me CD ending felt horribly rushed, like one minute he's struggling then boom, he's now at a level where he can create his own universe, keep in mind that he was barely the strongest in his mini universe (His world was one of the 4 mini universes that stabalize the large one that contains godkings etc)
ST is one of the few stories that could benefit from a denouement. For those who don't understand what I mean, it's basically when you wrap everything up properly and explain matters that were left unresolved.
It honestly felt like it reached the end several volumes before the actual end, at some point it felt like there were no actual danger or stakes left and it was just dragging on a bit like an extended epilogue, which would have been fine if it had been fully focused on showing the characters lives after the main plot instead of spending half of the time on anti-climactic fights.
