A very, very long time ago, I googled why my Crusader Kings II game was unbearably slow.
I found a few things to help me and I applied them, but there was this really effective one.
I found it on a Steam forum. The user said to open cmd and type something.
Problem is, I can't find this forum thread anymore, and I've forgotten the command.
I think it was something to let my RAM or whatever (I really don't know anything about laptops and computers) be used to its best (like what it can do best).
I hope that what I just said was understandable.
What I remembered, also, is that it required me to do a restart.
    That's really all I remember.
It had a very remarkable effect on my gameplay.
I've already set this game as real-time priority in task manager for windows, its still too slow. lol.

Better to ask this in a more....technically sound forum. While nuf has computer guys, this CMD command probably needs admin permission and stuff like that. Better not to mess around.

A dedicated gaming forum would probably serve him better.

I know a few cmd hacks, but I'm not gamer, so I can't help... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

try searching for the following keywords in google: cmd ram optimizer

Then try one of the articles. I'm not sure if it'll work though.
