    Sounds like moisture in your fridge has partially re-hydrated the meat and started a decomposition. Try eating a very small section and waiting to see if you feel any kind of adverse reaction. If not, then it should still be fine if you cook it hot (high temperature) or long (such as stewing)

    Throw it away would have been my first thought. No point risking your health over one sausage~

    Trash. Considering that you probably had enough in the fridge for the sausage to hide in, the cost benefit ratio between potential food poisoning versus food is against eating sour meat.
