Meh, chasing his old love and trying to recreate her feelings... feels like a recipe for a disaster. Hasn't this been done before where one of the leads loose their memories in a less creepy setting? Imo, this is one of those stories that would actually be much better with a harem setting.
The MC is such a pushover when it comes to girls. He's so smart but very stupid. Can someone please give those scheming girls a slap?! And his friends are so quick to pick sides after what happened with Apple. But, thinking about it carefully, this is how teens would react in real life. So it's a pass i guess. Still annoyed with them tho.
I really really like this novel Genuinely in love with it. Makes me thinking back about my life n have bitter smile haha. Though I couldn't connect with his high school & univ happyfunyouth since mine is gloom one but every decision he made I could related to it. 85% his action will be what would I do if the situation happened to me. And with Apple, forget which chapter but in short xu ting sheng said he wants apple to be happy, maybe he kind of love her otherwise why would he do all of this to her. He just can't be together with Apple in a relationship because she still have xiang ning. I think His love to this xiang ning it's like he love her from his heart and but not just pure love happilyeverafter, but that love have come from a lil bit guilty and responsibility from his past. Believe me my friend this kind of love is a strong one.
that last chapter pointed out an issue I noticed since the beginning. He is no longer the guy who went out with xiang ning. He's changed, and he's planning on changing her life too. He cannot be sure that the same feelings will emerge from her.
Well, yes. But he should at least try no? If it doesn't work out, if he falls out of love, then that's good too. What he sees in xian ning is but a dream, let's see how it clashes with reality. Right, but I think this story will turn out much better. After all there is no deep rooted arrogance, more an infatuation and self-doubt. Until now, I like their relationship alot. The way they have interacted is adorable. Let's just hope he wait till she grows up, and doesn't interfere with her life(growing up) too much.
