IMO First, she's only 13 yo girl. The body can affect mind. So even her previous life was woman, this 13 yo body might affect her mood, more or less. Second, her subconscious might sense that both Li are her relative who really care her. (The previous chapters suggest that). So her actions in the 97th is normal - for lil' girl who does something wrong to the caring elders.
Chapter 98: Ok for the last 10 chapters, she was totally awesome, cold, cool, calculated, and a total badass. But then chapter 97-98: she was "“But… but wasn’t it that only people from the Li clan could pull it out? The sword has made a mistake. Sh, shouldn’t I stick it back?” Claire asked meekly, seeing Li Yuewen’s oppressive gaze." I was disappointed. Really. It was not the reaction I expected, and this reaction is not up to the cool lady i grew up to like I expected her to say something like "Oh, well, sorry. Seems like the sword want me" while smiling. Hope the next chapters save the day :/
I wonder what makes it darker. Murder? Cruelty? Or something else? Its not the first time something like this has happened. I remember something similar when she stepped on her (prospective) future husband. Sometimes she reacts badly to unexpected, embarrassing, but not actually dangerous situations.
