I wanted to know how many prefer to go to a chapter of a novel and then go to the table of content via a link above the chapter and how many prefer to go to the table of content via the drop down menu which is present in almost all translation sites except Qidian and maybe 1or2 more. And Ren and WW could you add a table of content link between the previous and next link? I hate having to access the dropdown box and choosing from so many novels when I just want to look up the chapter names or access a previous chapter.
@rwxwuxiaworld I attempt to summon thee! And it doesn't really matter all that much to me. I do whatever I feel like doing at the time. If I miss and click the wrong chapter link I sometimes just scroll chapters by clicking the next or previous chapter button. It's strangely calming.
Maybe it would work faster if you summon @rwxwuxiworldsmum instead ... I mean she got Lord of All Realms going ... I like to have access to the table of content from a chapter ... however, a table of content without chapter names is a meh thing for me.
Really don't care, why would I ever visit the table of content anyways? Maybe if I have stopped reading it for quite a while, but then it is still on my reading list most of the time.
Sadly this only works when they "properly" index their chapters and not those weird URLs or ones that include dates for example.
I sometimes do it when novels have multiple chapters going for a single event (1) (2) (3) and want to see if it ended or not and proceed to hoard chapters, sometimes doing the same with arcs. Under the assumption of course that they are properly named in the ToC and not just numbers
Ahh, those with dates, I see.. (*´∇｀*) I switched on javascript or ask Google-sensei's help. A ToC link to ToC would be helpful for those releases that I can't edit to go to them.
