anyways, the damage in Silowas Island, I think, is a way to for the author to inflict some damage to the Norton House so that they can have a more impactful comeback

 

I think it is the author's way to make the Norton join the war and dominate another kingdom, and after the snow ball starts rolling, it won't stop till it reaches the bottom, total domination.

 

Which is exactly why he's trying to get one implemented, lol.

As for him preparing to get invaded by another kingdom, while that would obviously have been the best situation, why would he ever think that he'd get invaded by another kingdom? Him assuming that the Union and their allies being preoccupied by by the war with the other countries and thus unable to deal with him is a perfectly valid one imo.

but still, I can't help but be disappointed about this incident... and the wait for more chapters is killing me!!

I thought there would be a naval battle and guerilla islands warfare, this is too easy, not that I mind, kingdom building! kingdom building!

 

The main issue I have with the novel is that at times it just feels too easy for him. That combined with the narration style it occasionally uses to describe some wars really kills the tension. I want to see more deaths of important characters preferably one of the guys he went to school with. The only future enemies with potential appear to be the first and third young masters of the chikdor merchant guild and the second highness though is a bit too greedy and ambitious at times.

I am currently caught up with the translations and i find Locke to be very unromantic. Sure he screws around sometimes but not real romance, the focus is more on the fighting, political intrigues and kingdom building. It will probably continue that way. I really hoped to get some more information on the Mages. It seems like they show you a tasty treat and then simply forget about it.

 

can you actually get dynamic vision by sitting on a spinning chair and try to see objects??
