lol, maybe they are using a stab as to not show off his prowess with the bow... i honestly wonder what the guild will do to them if they know that they tried to pk their guild leader... that would be freaking epic, like they would be pk'd over and over again until they quit the game

He wasn't their guild leader.... he was just the highest level in the guild. As you can see from the conversations in chat from earlier chapters, many don't necessarily have a good impression of him.

 

wait he wasn't? ._. i thought it said that he was kicked out after resetting, and then it got transferred to someone else and were acting as the guild leader until ian went back to his high level...

 

He was vice guild master, but apparently this guild isn't very connected

 

I haven't read Taming master yet cuz it doesn't have that many chapters...

He's the vice guild leader and leader of the sub guild, is what I think is what was said when the Guild leader had to boost that other guy into the vice guild leaders position. The sub guild is for those of low levels 20 and over until maybe 60.

When Ian reset he couldn't hold that position anymore as the system wont allow anyone under level 20 in a guild. And even if he made it to level 20 having someone weaker than them as their boss even with his past achievements is a little.... no one will respect the weak and it'd seem unfair to the ambitious people in the guild so until Ian is Alpha/Beta (Alpha in level Beta in status under guild leader) again he has to stay with the omegas.

Great read a little slow to start but recently has a lot going for it. Its an enjoyable weekly update.

 

Hmmm, I wonder if those PKers will drop equipment that is worth the effort Ian spent to kill them

 

Apparently they dropped good things but what is this mystery stone? Ah I hate when I'm left with a cliff and can't see the edge.

 

I feel like the light object/item will play a large part in the abysmal lake. Maybe it will be able detect ice golems that aren't weak to fire or something along the lines of "Finding the best ice golem."

 

It was an item dropped randomly from a player who was totally unrelated to that specific quest. The MC had the idea to find and get an Ice Golem purely on a whim. I have no doubts that the stone is special and may even be specifically for new classes to use or is a hidden key item that will be very useful but to drop an item by a player and not an NPC that targets one specific quest that the MC decided to go to way before the item dropped is heaven defying luck if it's true. This would make the novel boring...

 

Reading the discussion, was it ever mentioned what guild the trio is in? From what I can remember, it was only said to be in the top 30(?), but not sure if the name was ever mentioned.

 

Don't remember but if it is it'd be in the last 5 chapters right?

 

Asked cuz I tried searching the keyword: guild, but no guild name came up when I did, just mention that his guild was in the top 30 or something similar.

Aww the cute little addition to the family is such an airhead its so incredibly adorable lol I was hoping for a Golem with a high defense and AOE skill and am still hopping he continues to search for it but I really do like this turtle and look forward to it's first evolution. I don't know the gender of the turtle so I'll address it as 'it'. I also don't know if I want the turtle to be an tank, a healer, or a buffer but the author is sure to make a good decision after the first evolution.

Now all the MC needs is an aerial pet and he'll have the basics for all terrains and areas. I'm looking forward to seeing Ly's 2nd evolution, but I can't help but fear that the cool down for the advance training is too long and can't be used on both pets... I don't exactly remember the cool down but I think it was 15 min and the affects lasted 25? For a person like Ian that 5 mins is a huge waste.

 

Hmm, it's already a tank, just doesn't have any agro skills. Anyways, if water, big heads and tropes are of any indications, it'd probably be a healer and/or mage (water laser/beam/gun/cannon/etc).

 

So, the Golem's Ice Wave skill qualifies right? I wonder which will proc more, the ice AoE or the life leech.
