    I do feel bad for the translator that this spoiler might deters some readers from trying the novel. Maybe the ride is better than just the given spoilers.

    Just reading that in raw (fast reading tho) and... true. The mid of the story are somewhat akin to repertoire about mc escapism -_-

    The protagonist will be fine with any ending but, ntr-ed always end with some thing undecent (experienced)

    I don't really mind taking dozens of chapters for building the character, but… 200 chapters of escapism? I'm bailing out. :(

    Guys I don't understand all this hate y'all are giving to the Childhood Friend.

    Like some people here have said, MC is a wuss. The Childhood Friend was in an adventure with the Hero for years, getting to know each other and becoming close and shit due to their struggles.

    While this is happening MC was just waiting not doing anything notable but pine for this girl.

    Like for real who would you choose? The mopey weak MC with nothing going on for him or the popular, strong hero? A hero, by the way, that she had life or death struggles with.

    .....Of course, that was until the MC powered the fuck up and became super strong.

    I can't wait for the worldwide reveal of how strong he is and see the interaction between him and the Childhood Friend.

    For me its because the mc pray every days for two years for her safety and they have a promise to get married only to leave him for a hero who only knew for a year or two. And the worse she dont say anything and only get dere dere with the hero with out telling anything to the mc. goddess herself had pity for the mc and wanted to expel her(Chilhood Friend) from being a priestess. She reaaalllyyy was a SAINT don't you think

    yeah LN version will have different ending, said author on his page, as many people critically disliked the NTR that happened. I also got a bad aftertaste but think it's fine in it's own way. The change is still a big welcome for me tho' that happy end for the hero pissed me off

    The childhood friend got proper characterization in ln. She punched the hero after he made "WTF Hero" move in public and ran away.
