Not sure what happened at the end.
I thought they were fighting the disciples of black flames.
but at the end another one shows up and asks for their help, and they don't seem to be on guard

 

Yeah, confusing as hell.
At first I thought that the Yula girl was the disciple of the black flame, I was surprised to see her getting close without them getting on their guard.
But even before that, the fight against the demon and his human was hard to follow.
I think the confusion came from the translation not being PR yet, rather than the author.

I hope his attitude will change or that he diseapears from the rest of the story

I thought that those infected with the God's Blood became both crazy and evil? It would be quite hard for her to join his harem. Unless you mean her as an undead? But that seems even less likely, especially considering how much he hates the kingdom of the undead.

 

Don't think the author has made it clear for ones with elemental bodies. The author can go either way, another companion that he saves by knowing to mitigate the problems or a mini boss being created.

kind of getting confused with names and organizations now, in the past 4-7 chapters, various mercenary groups and name drops and new characters were introduced, and not sure which one is which.

I can recommend the start. After that it kind of just enters a grind to set up future places and the main plot line. Putting up mysteries and so on. The problem when reading a chapter or two a week is that you forget what the question is before it is answered.
