Anyone has a summary of the Mc's interaction with the Dragon Clan? Seems like he explained the situation but he either turned it down or he is still forced to become an elder.

 

She said that she would protect him,
initially he was worried that she wasn't strong enough to go against the church, but then she explained that the dragon clan is one of the top 3 fighting clans in the innerwall, and she can and will definitely protect him.

He is taking her up on the offer, but he asked for a week to get stuff squared away. (She was just going to contact the church and keep him then)
They're going to meet in a week at a certain place on the wall, he was given her pendant. Because she's an ojouchan, she can't actually pick him up in the outerwall. (Though i guess completely outside the wall was fine? XD).

After he left. He's still acting like he's going to join the dark church, which is probably why it was confusing.

 

Ah thanks bro, was going to get annoyed if he spent the rest of the book trapped in a dungeon making stuff for the DC.

Looks like he is plotting to take over the inner wall and use the barbs to capture the outer wall.
For clarification, did he revoke all titles in his district as the Elder and did he give a time frame for joining the dragons? Also what was up with some chick trying to poison him?

Yup, so suprise *sarcasm* potion chick he sent to prison betrayed him and got her students to get the church of light to assasinate him. In the torture chapter he threatened to torture her student who cracked like an egg and testified that she put him up to it. Because of that, he got his 9th district councel the sentence her and take all her assets.
As for yevette, he hasnt explained much, but he basically wants her to go back and take the crown from her huge number of brothers by killing them and being the only heir. She basically said she wouldn't kill them because if she kills all her loved ones, what was the point of winning to get into the wall. To which the mc was like 'love ones? Is that a food? '
Which he is clearly not being honest since he's freakn bawling his eyes out at the end of this chapter.

On another note, the pope's mission for him seems to be to help the Mel's subfamily. Which he thinks is a direct challenge at himself, basically telling him to give up revenge. I think he'll be killing a pope this week lol.

 

Waffles i need you again. Did this guy just turn down the chance to enter the dragon clan? Also does it seem like the dragon clans younger sister is getting suppressed by her Older Sister? Whats the Mc's big plan for over throwing the inner wall?

 

new God Class Invention...duh.. it somethin to brag again and ppl around all wall will try to invite him again even with that 9th Distric Elder "the devil" identity,. take over dark church, swamp over the holy church & trample arrogant consorcium, Join Dragon Family by "rape both" 1st & 2nd dragon princess, poke the (bee nest) hidden master of monastery,. whack a mole inner-wall genius fighting tournament start,. win by trample all expert,. the inner wall king take him as son-in-law, become the new king, set new law by abolish nobility and banned slavery..

owh.. i forgot to add:
- with UFO like spaceship he Nuke all Titan & Kaijuu class monster all around the world,.
- he invent Time Machine, return to the past before the calamity, the plan is to save his family right after Dudian Cryogenic active. then save his family, only to find that his arrival is way beyond time, his parrent not yet married, they even are hate each other since they compete in science project (before dudian born). So he set them up, to have a dinner & all night date, he slip/share the idea of advance Cryogenic tech, although he doesnt reveal his identity to his parrent. so he wait for the time past-by and try to learn what is the cause of the calamity...the result is shocking...
- no matter how advance Cryogenic poject it cant survive the ?shocking? calamity, then he start space-travel, hope to find solution from alien technology & new material,. turn the desert on earth to a green-living enviroment, built a giant wall, create a lab, bring in both of his soon-parrent, select top gene of young human refugee around the world and train them as an elite seeds.. to be continue

it looks this guy cant catch a break. it seems like one of the sisters poised as the other sister to dean as part of a scheme to drag down the other sister. Not sure how it worked out, but the mc is sitting in prison again.

He's taken control of the outer wall Holy Church and instated Barton as the new Pope. Inner Wall HC tried to assassinate new pope but they got caught instead and interrogated then finally killed by Aisha, the "zombie"

Below is a summary starting from Dean takeover of the outer wall to chapter 688
Summary: After Dean had takeover the entire outer wall, he began his setup for the control over the inner wall. Everything was in his control until the appearance of a unforeseen visitor. The visitor was a member of the dragon clan, the subordinate of the Aisha's sister, Hailey. Unfortunately I am unable to give her a name because what I read was the raw, henceforth I will mention her as Hailey's aide. Anyhow, Hailey's aide was sent by Hailey to confirm the appearance of Aisha whoms information was leak by the monastery as bait to the dragon clan. Hailey's aide is at the level of pioneers and her monster crest ability is to tunnel underground, making her the perfect scout. Unfortunately for her, she was discovered by Dean and was baited to reveal herself. The end result was her capture by the zombified Aisha whom awoken her blood to the 4th level now as a zombie. (I am not too positive of this information because I sort of zone out upon reading this section. I sort of recall Hailey mentioning this later when she confirmed Aisha's identity.) Anyhow, Hailey's aide was then tortured and tricked into revealing information of the situation of the inner wall currently. Although she still attempt to hide her identity, posting as a member of the military from the inner wall to Dean; she was betrayed by her armor for Dean recognized it to be a product of the dragon clan. The end result was Dean going aganist his compromise with her, resulting in her zombification, for Dean injected zombie venom into her previously. Her body was taken by Dean and dropped off to the inner as his message and present. (Likewise accidents always happens, for she zombify too quick and assaulted Dean just as he drop her off, luckily he managed to escape) After this incident, Dean realize the urgency to ultlize his plan for the intervening of the Dragon clan at this time period was unforeseen during his planning. Therefore, he summoned a team of assassins to dispose zombie venom of the zombie king to the many water source of the inner wall, its purpose being to delay the response of the inner wall. Although his plan succeeded, he lost a loyal subordinate, being the senior assassin hunter whom he help acquiring her monster crest at the very beginning when he was still a intermediate hunter (forgot her name ) Feeling sorrowful and responsible, he attempt to compromise her death by shielding and providing the needs to her only sister who is currently attending law school. This plan backfired though, for her sister quit law school, seeking Dean for a opportunity to avenge her dead sister for which Dean agrees. Then like planned, a zombie infection became widespread throughout the entire innerwall, for under the veil of darkness, chaos descend. Dean take this as the perfect cover for his visit to the monster research institute, for at times of such chaos is the best concealment for his operation. (I forgot to mention Dean abolished the slave system of the outer wall, granting all slaves citizenship, providing citizens a opportunity for nobility and nobility a opportunity to ascend to the inner wall while granting them a title.) Anyway, Dean and the zombify Aisha sneak into the inner wall, arriving to the monster research institute only to be caught by the guards. Although Dean and Aisha manage to finish off most of the guards, they still let 2 escape for they leak the news of his approach to the researchers inside. Though, the respond of the monster research institute is said to be quick, for they provide a substitute for the head of research; they were still seen through by Dean. Basically they tried to delay time by providing Dean with a fake head of research, only to fail and the real one caught up by Dean. The two guards whom previously escaped, escorted the head of research only to be found and killed by Dean and Aisha. Dean then forced the head of research to show him the way to the storage of god's marrows in which he obviously took as his. (Btw the ingredients for god's blessing and god's marrow is exposed, being zombie soul crystal and the parasitic god/dragon worm (The worm powder used by the dragons family as boundary to prevent monster for crossing for they hate the scent of the parasite god/dragon worm powder (idk the name, don't judge)) Later on, Dean notice the thermal signal for a organism at the 8th floor of the monster research institute to be intriguing for it is able to freely alternate its shape. At first Dean was just intrigued by its ability, but then he recall a encounter was a monster similar to this. (Sorry, forgot to mention before Dean and Aisha enter the inner wall for the monster research institute, he went to the wilderness to seek the 2 Grinder. (I am not very sure if that is its name for I haven't read the English translation for quite a while) During this trip he encounter a goo like monster who is freely able to alter its shape while possessing the ability of powerful suction and life draining. The weakness of this monster being it's completely vulnerable to fire.) Just as he was able to ask for the purpose of the creation of this artificial monster he was interrupted by the arrival of pioneer whom possess strong aero combat in which Aisha fence off.
Well that is basically it.

 

Do you mean Aisha became a zombie (without independent thinking?) when she made progress with her training after she was stripped of her status as the saint in DC?? Thanks for clarification.

 

Yes Aisha became a zombie after she was dealt a fatal blow by a zombie king to save Dean. Although she decapitate the head of the zombie king at the same time, her death was inevitable. The thing is, even though she died she somehow zombify and could be consider alive but without wisdom, only to rely on basic instinct like all the other zombie. Hencefore it is no wonder she did attack Dean, luckily for him she entered a weaken state due to the zombification, allowing him a chance to trap her behind a door made using the technology of the past. Therefore even with her strength, she is unable to break through. During this time period Dean notice zombie is similar to wild animals of the past relying on basic instinct from the fact that zombie are able to detect thermal signal without any senses of any sort. This discovery gave him hope and he used it to his advantage, allowing him to control the zombify Aisha using flesh and sound, training her to move according to the method to train wild animals in the past. Later on, Dean discover that although Aisha zombify, she still retain her fighting techniques. This result him pondering deeper in this regards, he came up with multiple theories. One of the theory is that either bloodline or probablity affect the type of zombification. Since zombie king retain a bit of wisdom unlike regular zombie, able to ultize techniques and martial arts; Dean came up with the theory that some zombie king still possess their basic conscious, however it is trap and override by basic instinct. The latest chapter, Dean capture the head researcher of the monster research institute and ask of this matter and found there to be no method in curing complete zombification, however the head researcher did propose a past theory, that by awakening the consciousness of a zombie, you can save the person from zombification. This theory is currently unachievable because even in the peak of mankind, we were unable to dwell deep in the mystery of the soul.

 

Thank you very, very much! It's a pity because I had hoped that Aisha would become the MC's companion. I am glad that Dean is trying hard to help Aisha recover..... Dark King is a dark novel, indeed.
